Using Your Facility

to Help Your Church Grow

Using Your Facility to Help Your Church Grow—Idea #1

If you have the property, you might consider the value of installing a quality playground (like you find in upscale parks) for your children. You will find that there are more than just the obvious benefits. A quality playground tells folks "children are important here," and it gives kids a place to be and have fun while their parents serve the church or have an opportunity to socialize, pray or browse in your bookstore.

Using Your Facility to Help Your Church Grow—Idea #2

Step into the new millennium and transform your "fellowship hall" to a coffee cafe. You can change the ambience of your fellowship hall significantly without a great deal of cost. The kinds of chairs, tables, and colors you choose can make a difference. Study the "coffee cafes" that are popular in your area. There’s no question that coffee houses are very popular today. People go to not only have coffee but visit and make friends. Isn’t that what we really want o have happen in our fellowship areas? What could you do to create something similar?

Using Your Facility to Help Your Church Grow—Idea #3

If your mission statement is very brief and easy to memorize, consider putting it in a prominent place. (On a wall in your lobby, in your sanctuary...so you can refer to it when you acknowledge newcomers).
