Welcome to the Virtual Resource Library
A Website for Churches This is a website for church staffs to use for getting ideas in the design and wording of communications with their congregations, as well as in the administration and organization of their various functions. The content of this site is comprised of ideas and concepts that have worked well for the Church of Today in San Diego, California, and which we are making freely available to other churches that want to try out new techniques and methods in motivating their people to step up and become more. We invite you to check out the materials and ideas contained in this site and if you find things which you feel may be helpful, select and copy them to your computer files by clicking your right mouse button and selecting the "Copy" function. You can then paste the document in your word processor or desktop publishing program. You can navigate around this site by pressing the buttons in the upper left-hand column of each page and at the top. The left-hand column button will take you to elements within a section; the buttons at the top of the page are for other sections. We are continually adding new materials to this site, so we encourage you to visit it frequently and check out all that it has to offer. If you have materials you would like to submit for this site, please send them as attachments or cut-and-pasted copy via e-mail to David Newbold using the address: david.newbold@sbcglobal.net. A Message from the Church Growth and Development Committee Welcome to the Virtual Resource Library. This site has been developed by the Church of Today in San Diego as a project of the AUC Church Growth and Development Committee. It has become a valuable resource for ministers who are looking for ideas and materials to help their churches grow. Though most of the material currently included in this site has been contributed by the Church of Today in San Diego, it is the Committee's desire that this Virtual Resource Library is eventually filled with material contributed by many others. (Special thanks to David Newbold--a former member of my staff,--for all the time he's given to the creation of this site while continuing to handle all his normal responsibilities.) The Church Growth and Development Committee invites you to browse through this site. We encourage you to use whatever you find of value and to give us your feedback. Below, you will find instructions on how to do so.
