Faith In Action Program

Faith in Action is a seven-to eight-week program at the Church of Today, which is designed to focus our congregation's attention on committing to individual spiritual renewal and to furthering our church's growth and development. Each week has a theme, a color and an affirmation, which are incorporated into the Sunday lesson or that week and serve as the topic for the week for the individual discussion groups.

This section of the site is dedicated to displaying the wide range of materials and ideas we have used for promoting and conducting Faith in Action over the years. In 1998 we changed the name from Adventure in Faith, so many of the documents will bear the latter name.

We really recommend this program to any church which is committed to growth because it does such a wonderful job of developing an awareness of the church's mission and goals and provides an ideal "incubator" for a deeper understanding and a closer relationship between individual congregants and God.

(The original idea for this type of Fall program was developed by church growth consultant, Howard Kelley, whom we worked with for several years.)
