Dear «Salutation»,

The season of Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. To me it is more than a celebration of the birth of Jesus; it is a celebration of life itself! It is a time when we can focus on all that is good about our lives and the people around us, a time for caring and sharing with all of God’s children, and a time for connecting with the divine Spirit within us and expressing that Spirit in all that we do and say.

It is also a time for gratitude, and I give great thanks that God has lead you to the Church of Today. Your generosity in sharing your goodness with this Church is a constant source of joy to me, and I commend you for your commitment to the spiritual principle of giving from your heart.

Renewal is a key theme throughout the celebration of Christmas, and I see for you a season in which you are renewed in the peace and love of God; in which you are affirmed in your faith and trust in God; in which you are filled with new wisdom and inspiration that furthers your progress in becoming all that you can be.

«Salutation», may this season be one in which you deepen your relationships with family and friends and connect with the divine Spirit that is in each one of them. May you walk in peace and find the love of God wherever you go. And may your path be one of joy, harmony and prosperity throughout this season and the new year.

Much love and many blessings,

 Wendy Craig-Purcell, Minister

PS We are thrilled about two important events coming up: The Heart Empowerment Seminar ~ January 23rd and 24th ~ and Arun Gandhi’s Lecture and Workshop ~ February 20th and 21st.

Dear «Salutation»,

Here we are again at the start of a brand new year with wonderful new opportunities to become all that we wish to be. You are so very dear and special to me and I look forward to working with you this year in making your dreams a reality.

I want to especially thank you for your gifts which empower the Church to help so many. By giving to others, you open the door to greater good in your own life.

As you walk your path with God this year, know that I hold for you the light of peace and contentment, and that you are blessed beyond measure with God’s love and comfort wherever you are and in whatever you do.

With much love and an abundance of blessings,

Wendy Craig-Purcell

Dear «Salutation»,

As we move steadily nearer to the new millennium, I am particularly grateful to you for your support of this ministry and all that it stands for. Your contributions not only help us help others develop a relationship with God, but also to create a safer, kinder and more peaceful world in which people like yourself can thrive and grow without fear and without hardship.

We are now riding the crest of an evolutionary wave which is transforming our world into a place where spiritual values are the essence of our relations with each other, and our creative relationship with God. It is the fundamental basis of our human experience. This is the great message which we as individuals can bring to the world, and which we can display to the world through our example. It is our hope, our destiny, and our children’s inheritance.

I treasure your support of this ministry, and the tremendous good which your contributions make possible. Please know that I see for you a world in which forgiveness and understanding are the governing values of all relationships, and God’s love and blessings are readily apparent in every human life. Let your light shine and your love flow as we journey together on this spiritual path.

With much love and an abundance of blessings,

 Wendy Craig-Purcell

P.S. Please join me for my series entitled "Like Blue Jeans for the Soul," beginning February 21st. You’ll learn ways to reduce stress, increase peace of mind, and strengthen your spiritual connection with God through the practice of prayer and meditation

Dear «SALUT»,

As we move into Summer, our thoughts turn to planning vacations and outings, events which provide us with a change of pace, more time with our families and friends, and a respite from what can sometimes be a stressful way of life. These times that we take for renewal, enjoyment and a chance to re-connect with that part of us which still likes to play, are very important in terms of adding balance, clarity and renewed energy to our lives.

What a physical vacation can achieve for our overall sense of well being, can also be achieved for our souls through taking regular "spiritual vacations," by entering into that deep part of us where love and light form the nucleus of our Spirit. We can take spiritual vacations by turning inward to commune with God and feeling God’s presence within us. However, sometimes it’s difficult to remember to do this, which is an important reason for attending Church of Today and participating in our wide range of Church activities and service opportunities.

I want to thank you for your contribution to our Church last Sunday, which will be used to continue to create wonderful spiritual vacations for yourself and others. When you enter into this place of love and laughter, peace and harmony, I hope you will acknowledge yourself as being one of its creators, one who bears part of the responsibility for the miracles that are taking place here every day.

May the Lord of "spiritual vacations" be your constant companion and guide, and may your way be lit with the light of passion and truth, now and always.

With much love and light,

Wendy Craig-Purcell

Dear «Salutation»,

Our Church home continues to improve, not only physically as we enhance our building and facilities, but in the radiance of love, warmth and compassion which surround all who come through its doors. Many people have told me they feel a great sense of love and joy when they enter the building, a sense that they can leave whatever difficulties they may be experiencing behind them and feel the comfort and peace that is God within them.

I want to thank you for your support in making this possible. Without you, and others like you, without the monetary gifts and the gift of your presence in this Church, the safe, warm and loving atmosphere that so much pervades our Church home could not exist.

So I’m particularly grateful to you for what you are enabling this ministry to offer, for your generosity and for your love. And may you be enfolded in God’s love and instilled with the peace that passes all understanding, as we continue to work together to create a world of understanding and light.

With much love and an abundance of blessings,

Wendy Craig-Purcell

Dear «Salutation»,

Faith is the answer to most of life’s questions, and I hope that you are finding your faith being strengthened as you journey along the quiet path to oneness with God. Many people have found the Adventure in Faith program to be a powerful asset in developing a strong faith in God’s willingness and desire to make their lives a joyous experience. I truly hope that you have benefited from it in that way, too.

«Salutation», I want you to know how much I appreciate your gift this month. It is gifts like yours that help us to help others build their faith so that they too may have a joyous and meaningful life experience and realize the blessings of partnering with God.

I’m sure you realize that to continue this work, we exercise great faith in your commitment to financially support your Church family, through the pledge you make on your Financial Commitment Card, and through your subsequent weekly giving. Your financial support is very important to this Church and I know I can count on you to be a pillar of strength throughout the coming year. If you have not turned in your Commitment Card yet, I encourage you to do so as soon as possible.

I know that as you progress along your spiritual path, you are finding faith to be an incomparable blessing in your life, one which is helping you to develop a deep, rich and meaningful partnership with God. I behold you ever-blessed through your awareness of God’s presence within.

Much love and many blessings,
